Death
Well I was watching TV yesterday, lots of TV... I feel as though my brain has become fried especially since I haven't watched TV at all for two straight weeks. Who knew that cable really doesn't have anything on at all. But anyway, I was flipping through and I started watching the news for a while. The story was on the death penalty, Singapore, and Australia. If you've heard about then you know what I’m talking about, I don't feel like explaining it. But anyway, I got so upset when people were making such a big deal about how it was wrong. Come on, it's not like it was some surprise punishment that they all of a sudden stuck onto drug trafficking. The guy knew, or should have known (since it's no secret) what the punishment for his actions were, and thus receive his allotted due. Argh, makes me so angry just thinking about it. People today never want to own up to the responsibilities that their actions create.
The only problem though with the death penalty in general is that what if the guy was innocent...now he's dead, an irrevocable sentence, and who are we to decide who should live and who should die. Should any one government or body of people have that

haha... we are talking about this in my Philosophy class. i find it stupid that people are making such a huge deal over this death (which he probably deserved), when they are apathetic towards civilians dying in Palestine. There's a Stalin quote about this kinda thing, i swear...

heh, it's called "vonage" and it's like skype i guess in that it costs virtually nothing, but it's better quality than skype, and it's on a real phone line connected to one anywhere you choose in the states.
