Christmas Break
Well, I guess I haven’t written since mid December because of the strange phenomena of being either too busy to write stuff down, or too bored to care. It seems that’s how breaks tend to be, some days are full of excitement and others just lag on. Some highlights I suppose are:
1. Alumni breakfast- I got to meet up with lots of friends that came back to the wonderful Philippines, including Audrey, Becca, Beth, Hannah, Sierra, Candace, Mark, David H. and Daniel Boyer (heh, he used to be in our class fifth grade)…. shoot, I’m sure there were others, but I can’t remember. It was super fun but a bit stressful as well. I mean just the fact of seeing everyone and then being reminded that it’s never going to be the way it was in high school. But life goes on.
2. Relatives- My big brother joseph came to visit from California!!! I think it was meant to be a surprise but we all knew about it for some reason. Heh, poor guy. So we played lots of tennis and then
3. The Beach- We went to Puerto Gallera, and stayed at the Tamaraw beach resort. There were a lot of faith families there too, but we out stayed them all and it turned out to be a lot of fun, and now I’m super sunburned, and I know I’m going to blister and peel... argh, I hate that!
4. More Friends- I went up to faith today and saw more peoples from our class including Peter Bugbee, Sam Musgrave, Itchy, and Ed. It was a nice surprise; most of it, since I thought only peter was going to be up there. Again, meeting up with old classmates is fun, but it’s also depressing. I mean seeing one person automatically reminds me of others that I wish I could see again. *Sigh* why do people have to grow up and move away… oh no, I have a “pan complex.”
5. School- I guess school is not really a highlight, but now that school has started up again it helps me have more of a schedule and that in itself can never be bad! I also just started my chemistry class. I had five months to complete the course, but since the professor never gave any deadlines, I managed never to do any of the assignments. So now I have to finish five months of work by January 29… heh, a bit sad, retarded, and challenging all mixed up in one big mess.
6. Marriage- Ben and Renee!!! AAHHHHHH I’m so excited about it, and I don’t even know why since it’s so obvious!!! But nonetheless, I’m still excited. Hurray for Ben and Renée.
