Summer UPDATE :0)

It’s been a good summer so far. A lot of people are back to my country. I shall now proceed to list all I can think of who are back: Audrey, David, Leah, Greg, Aaron (erin moohahaha), Myra, Ben, Renee, Daniel Dy, and Sethie. Yup a lot of people and it’s been fun to hang out with them again as if we’d never graduated. It’s strange how a year can go by, and yet the moment I see friends from faith I feel as though I’m right back in school again. I went to see the movie Poseidon… yeah, let’s just say I’m upset I even paid to go see that movie. What capped the whole thing off was how they conveniently found a life raft floating near by when they FINALLY got out of that cruise ship. I also saw over the hedge…not what I thought it would be but ok if you’re a little kid which I find that I AM. I saw X-Men last night and thought it was only ok. Better than Poseidon anyway, and the ending was cool. Still waiting to see Da Vinci code with David but he has to finish the book first like the dumb butt that he is. Don’t get me started on the book and all its inconsistencies in raw facts, not to mention that the author is guilty of down right plagiarism. But despite that I still want to see the movie.

On another note, grad was just last night. So weird going to this building that we were just in almost exactly a year ago and watching what happened to us only it was happening for another class. I’m gonna miss a lot of those little people. And it was funny watching them walk down the stage and thinking, how in the world are these little kids going to make it in college they look like middleschoolers to me. And yet I’m sure we looked just the same to others when we graduated. On another side though, I just realized how boring grad could be when you don’t have someone graduating or you’re not involved in the ceremony. It seemed to go on forever and the words of wisdom were lost on me cuz I found myself pay more attention to who was actually in the room heh dumb I know, but I couldn’t help “scoping” it all out. Well the little seniors have had their senior party. I wonder if they all cried like we did even though I kept telling myself that I wasn’t going to when we had our senior party. Such mixed memories and emotions associated with the end of my senior year. Anyway, summer has officially started in my house now; hopefully it will be a good one. (And I CAN”T believe Taylor won I just can’t believe it.)

I think a typhoon is coming here or at least a tropical depression because the weather definitely turned. Right now it’s extremely windy with cloudy skies. It’s so agreeable that I decided to force my little sisters on a walk in valley gulf. The wind was blowing and there was a slight drizzle, it was so cold but that’s what made it fun. As I’m waking I get the bright idea to take off my sandals since they’re getting all muddy anyway and mostly defeated the purpose of shoes in the first place. So I’m walking barefoot on some old forgotten road that looks fairly clean since no cars drive on it anymore and I’m a jungle kid anyway so I can handle it ;0). I place my sandals on the side of the road with the intention of picking them up on my way back up the road because it’s getting really troublesome to carry them. But on my way back about an hour later, my shosie pooh’s are gone! Some idiot stole my shoes, and what’s scary is we’re in the middle of no where so who would be around to take them?!!!! I was so angry that my shoes were stolen and I’d have to walk all the way back barefoot, on a muddy road which everyone uses and will doubtless see my poor waif of a self walking on, that the thought that someone was probably following us has only just now occurred to me.

Escapade at Midnight

I think I’m in the twilight zone… besides intensely loving that show; I’m a bit freaked out right now. It all started around midnight. I was traveling alone in my Toyota corolla on the valley golf (gulf for Andrew lee my best friend) road when I see a man on a bicycle coming towards me. He swerves in and out of my lane, and I’m going super fast and I almost hit him. I honk really loud but he keeps swerving in my lane. Finally I’m so close I almost hit him, then I get a chance to look at his face and realize that the guy is totally stoned or drunk, probably both. Anyway, I pass him just as he decides it might be better for him to get out of my way and into his own lane. I proceed on my journey home. Then about thirty seconds later two guys on motorcycles come speeding down the road as though they’re after the drunk guy I’m so busy looking at them whiz by that I don’t see the dog running on the road straight towards my car regardless of the headlights shinning right in his face. I screech to a stop as the dog keeps running towards my car. Then as the dog gets nearer I notice that it’s carrying what looks like a limp and probably dead kitten in his mouth. What in the world is wrong with this, it’s like a perversion of nature or something. I’m noticeably freaked out, and since no one was around I start yelling in the air about how freakishly weird everything is. But it doesn’t end. I get to the end of valley golf/gulf and am about to turn onto Ortigas when I notice about fifty guys on motorcycles just sitting at the crossroads. I’m forced to stop to wait for a chance to get through the intersection and to my great chagrin I realize that I’m now just a couple of feet away from my motorcycle friends who are now staring at me through my open window. Needless to say I feel extremely vulnerable and wish I could hurry through the intersection. I resolve not to look them in the eye, which seems to usually work just as well with men as it does with ANIMALS. I see an opening and I take it. I rush through the intersection and feel better. Then I hear motorcycle engines behind me and I realize that three of the herd has decided to follow me down Ortigas. I feel the adrenaline pumping and I speed up as fast as I can, pushing my little corolla to its limit. I love my cute little corolla. I totally outdistanced those losers in a matter of seconds! Boohyah! SHUT-DOWN!!!

One exam and one essay left and then I’m done! Heh, I’m so excited about that! So excited in fact I just might do it right now and get it over with even though they’re both not due until Saturday. Hahah, yeah RIGHT! Heh judging from my past performances, I’ll probably keep pushing it for as long as I can. Next time I post it will be summer vacation. :0)
